who we are
Texas Blue Action was started in 2018 with a mission to turn outrage into action. Since then, we’ve mobilized over 8,000 volunteers, increased Democratic turnout in the precincts we organize and are rapidly growing our presence precinct by precinct across Texas.
what we do
We employ a highly successful neighborhood organizing model that blends traditional canvassing with relational organizing. We use a Block Captain model to organize block by block, precinct by precinct.
Our organizing model offers resources for successful volunteer and voter outreach. We are expanding the electorate and building long-term sustainable Democratic infrastructure in Texas.
The name Blue Action is no accident. We wanted our organization to stand for taking meaningful action, in our local communities, across Texas to elect more progressive candidates to office and to support progressive policies. We are so committed to action, our tag line is "Get Stuff Done," or #GSD.

Unlike campaigns, Blue Action is a consistent presence in our communities. Because we operate year-round, our motivated, educated volunteers become valuable resources in their communities on voting information, voter registration, and candidate information.
chapter organizing
Our chapters are organizing block by block in neighborhoods across the state. They educate volunteers on the voting process, the candidates, and how to speak to neighbors about voting. Blue Action Democrats provides the training, systems, and resources to organize and educate these volunteers.

A modern, highly effective approach to organizing, we leverage the power of relationships and technology to reach more voters, faster. Volunteers can participate at any time and from anywhere. This is the the largest and fastest growing relational organizing program in the country.
sustainable infrastructure
Our social network of volunteers and our voters are called upon to drive voter turnout in every election, cycle after cycle. It's leveraging volunteers within your own community to provide voter education and to promote Democratic candidates prior to local, state and national elections.
